Marianist Lay Communities - North America

Marianist Lay Communities (MLCs) are the most basic way in which Lay Marianists live out the communal aspect of their charism and of being church in the modern world. MLCs are typically made up of 10-20 members and may also count Marianist sisters, brothers, and priests among their members. These small communities provide an experience of faith sharing for their members. Additionally, MLCs also provide a context in which Lay Marianists can interpret the “signs of the times” - that is, to discern the needs of our world today and how Marianist individuals and communities can attend to those needs. For more information about MLCs, see our Resources page or reach out through out Contact page.
